Where your boat gets seen

We do not settle for one listing in one place. Your boat is published across several channels at once, and we handle the photography, the copy and every enquiry that comes in.

Reach

Buyers rarely look in only one place

A boat listed on a single site only reaches the buyers who happen to be looking there. So we publish every boat we broker across several channels in parallel: the major boat marketplaces, our own listings and our social channels. Advertising is part of the brokerage fee — it costs you nothing extra.

The difference shows in the pace. The more serious buyers who see the boat in the first few weeks, the smaller the risk that it sits unsold and eventually has to come down in price.

Where your boat is listed

The channels we publish in

The same boat, the same photographs and the same honest description everywhere. Enquiries and viewings always go through us, wherever the buyer found the listing.

  • batformedlarna.se

Our own listings, and the only place with the full material: complete description, full equipment list, image gallery and the option to book a viewing directly.

    See the boats
  • Båttorget

A Swedish marketplace for used boats, where visitors are looking for a boat and nothing else. Your listing stays up for as long as the boat is for sale.

  • Blocket Båt

Sweden's largest marketplace for second-hand goods. Broad reach, and it also catches buyers who were not actively looking for a boat.

  • Boat24

A European boat marketplace. It matters when the boat is a model whose buyer is outside Sweden.

  • Scanboat

A Nordic marketplace weighted towards Denmark and Norway — often the right channel for sailing boats and larger motor boats.

  • Instagram and Facebook

New arrivals are shown in our own channels, where the followers already have an interest in boats.

The listing material

Reach does not help if the listing is thin

Appearing in many places counts for nothing if the person who clicks does not get their questions answered. This is what goes into every listing we publish.

Photographs that show the boat as it is

We photograph the boat on site, usually after washing and valeting. Considered exterior and interior images cut down on viewings that lead nowhere.

A description that answers the questions

Condition, equipment, engine hours and history — honest about both strengths and shortcomings. That is what builds trust with a buyer who is genuinely serious.

A complete equipment list

Everything that comes with the boat, listed. The buyer should not have to guess, and you should not have to answer the same question ten times.

The right price from the start

We value the boat on condition, equipment and how the market looks right now. A correctly priced boat sells faster, and usually for more than one that has been sitting a long time.

Good to know

Common questions about the advertising

Does the advertising cost extra?

No. Advertising in all of the channels is part of the brokerage fee. Survey, transport, valeting and storage are separate services paid for on their own.

Can I opt out of a channel?

Yes. If for any reason you would rather not appear somewhere, just say so and we keep the boat off it.

Who answers the enquiries?

We do. Every prospect goes through us, wherever they found the listing. You avoid both the evening phone calls and the awkward price discussion.

What happens to the listings once the boat is sold?

We take them down in every channel. On our own site the boat stays up as sold, but without a price — it shows Price on request.
